Consulting Services – FIRMS SELECTION
REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
This Request for Expressions of Interest follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in dgMarket online 26th July 2011 and published Issue no 804 16th August 2011, re advertised 30th April 2012 and again on 30th October 2013.
The Government of Tonga has received a grant for assistance from the International Development Association for the Tonga Aviation Investment Project (TAIP) under the Pacific Aviation Investment Project (PAIP) and it is intended to apply part of the proceeds to payments for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) include Design and Supervision of the Terminal Refurbishment Works at Fua’amotu International airport.
This is structured in two phases:
i) the design phase, which will prepare architectural and structural designs (including technical specifications, drawings and other supporting documents) required for the procurement of building works, equipment and other goods to facilitate improvements to the existing terminal building; and
ii) the project management phase which will include supervision of building works, equipment and goods, within a live airport environment.
The Tonga Aviation Investment Project now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are:
- Company Structure andCore Business;
- Demonstratedsimilarassignments in staged airport terminal refurbishment;
- Location of experience in the Pacific Region, small island environment or developing country; and
- Caliber of Key Staff nominated.
