“OUR HERITAGE – BETTER SHIPPING FOR A BETTER FUTURE”
It gives the Ministry of Infrastructure – Marine and Ports Division great pleasure to announce its very first Art Competition with the intention of public awareness and focused on students who are the future of developments in our home country in regards to all Maritime Affairs.
Celebrated globally by each nation who is a member of the International Maritime Organization, Maritime Day is celebrated on the 27th September annually by 174 Member States, and Tonga being a member state has decided to mark the 23rd October 2018 to celebrate Maritime Day, joining the rest of the member counties of the IMO.
