06th June, 2017 Escaped prisoner ‘Amoni Fifita, who escaped from the Magistrate Court whilst in Police custody, was re-apprehended by Police at around 4:00pm yesterday Monday 5 June 2017.
He was captured from an area near the village of Fatai and is remanded in custody to appear at the Magistrate Court later this week.
Police would like to thank members of the public for the information and assistance provided during the search for the escaped prisoner.
