CRSP Scholarship – Call For Applications

30th January, 2017 Tonga Climate Resilience Sector Project(CRSP) is pleased to invite applications from civil servants for 2017 Postgraduate Diploma majoring in climate change and MSc majoring in climate change, marine or environmental science. Both Postgraduate Diploma and MSc are one yearprograms hosted by USP. Postgraduate Diploma program will be offered online. MSc program will be hosted at USP Main Campus, Suva, Fiji.

An applicant has to submit a letter of interest addressed to the Chairman of CRSP Steering Committee, Hon. Siaosi Sovaleni, Minister of MEIDECC, specifying the reasons for wanting to be considered for the scholarship, degree and major applied for, supported by the following documents:

  • High school and university transcripts;
  • A current curriculum vitae;
  • A reference letter from an academic referee;
  • A reference letter from the CEO of the government ministry the applicant is currently serving at.

A successful applicant must work in Tonga upon completion of one’s program of study for the period specified in the scholarship bond.

Selection will be based on evaluation of the documents required for submission above.

A complete application must be received by 4.00 PM, Friday, February 3, 2017, at:

Taufa’ahau Road
Nuku’alofa

Late applications will NOT be considered.

Envelopes containing submissions must be clearly marked “Scholarship Application”. Please be advised that only successful applicants will be notified.
