The Ministry of Meteorology, Energy, Information, Disaster Management, Environment, Climate Change and Communications (MEIDECC) has received the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report for the installation of 6MW Solar Farm at Pelehake and Vaini and is seeking comments on the EIA report. A copy of the report can be inspected at the Department of Environment office, Vuna Road during working hours from 9am – 4pm. Comments must be received by due date Tuesday 3rd March 2020.
Purpose: Install 6MW solar plants to contribute to Government’s 50% target of renewable energy generation by 2020.
