Tonga Fire and Emergency Services hereby announce open prospect places within Recruit Cohort No. 11, and invites interest candidates to apply for the vacant post of RECRUIT FIRE FIGHTER.
Closing date: 02 March 2020 (1630HOURS)
- At least Tonga School Certificate (TSC) pass or equivalent
- Between 18 – 25 years old (if you are over 25 and interested, you will need work experience or education in a technical field)
- Physically fit
Desirable
- Work experience or education in a technical field (e.g. Automotive Engineering)
- Computer literate
- Personal qualities of dedication, endurance, professionalism and honesty
Applicants must be aware of the following before applying:
- This is a highly physically demanding role
- Successful applicants will be on a 2 year long probationary period at Recruit Fire Fighter, before being confirmed at Fire Fighter rank
