Professional Development
Things have began to settle down across the working office now that all freshman decisions have now been made. We’re still taking care of reviewing transfer files, but our staff recently took a quick trip to Reno, NV to attend a professional conference.

Summer in the town
It’s officially summer in Southern California! Campus is just a bit quieter, the conditions are becoming warmer, & most importantly, the pace in our workplace has slowed down. We are also benefiting from this downtime to explore l . a . and all which our city has to supply our students.
Like in previous summers, we’re using the summer time Restaurant Series, prepared by some of our own colleagues, to explore the cuisine that is local. Simply last month, we ventured to 23rd St. Café in USC’s yard. This restaurant that is unique American, Indian, and Mexican food, as well as some fusion dishes. The Chicken Tikka Masala quesadilla was quite popular in our group! For the food that is second, our restaurant series took us to Umamicatessen.
