03rd August 2016 …..is the view of Ulu, a father from Ha’apai. “As the man of the house I ensured that my wife got the right kind of foods, and all 14 of my children were breastfed upto 2-3 years. As a husband, I advocate Breast Feeding!” continues Ulu. The talkback show organised by TongaHealth yesterday on 90.0 FM/ A3Z got quite a surprising response, and one hour seemed to be insufficient to answer the calls that continued to come in even when the show was at it’s end.
This is World Breast Feeding Week, and TongaHealth in collaboration with its partners from the Ministry of Health is doing a week of radio shows with experts from the Obstetrics, Reproductive and Antenatal divisions.
