Vacant Positions at the Ministry of Justice

The Ministry of Justice hereby invites internal and external applications for the following vacant positions at the Ministry of Justice:

Position Department Band Minimum Requirements
Assistant Registrar (x1) Magistrate Court K ($23,520 – $35,280) –           Postgraduate in Law or other relevant fields from a recognized tertiary institution with up to 1 year relevant working experience; OR

–          Bachelor in Law or other relevant fields from a recognized tertiary Institution with at least 3 years relevant working experience; OR

–          Diploma in Law or other relevant fields from a recognized tertiary institution with at least 8 years relevant working experience.

Bailiff Officer (x1) Bailiff Division L ($19,490- $29,230) –          Must have a degree in relevant field from a recognized tertiary institution with up to 3 years of relevant work experience; OR

–          Must have a Diploma in relevant field from a recognized tertiary institution with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.

    N ($11,760 – $17,640) –          Diploma in a relevant field from recognized tertiary institution with no working experience; OR

–          Certificate in a relevant field of study from a recognized tertiary institution with at least 3 years work experience; OR

–          Must pass form 7 or its equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant work experience; OR

–          Must pass the PSSC or its equivalent with at least 7 years of relevant work experience;

–          Higher qualification will be considered.

Driver (x1) Vava’u Sub-Branch R ($7,560 – $11,340) –          At least attend Secondary School

–          Must have a valid driving license with proof of having driven for more than 2 years

–          Good grasp of all Traffic Act and Regulation

–          Knowledge of the Public Service Policy will be an advantage

 

The mandatory requirements to be submitted in all applications are the following documents:

  2. Updated CV
  3. Certified Copies of Academic transcripts
  4. At least two (2) reliable references

Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered.
