25th October, 2018 Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived at Fua’amotu Airport this afternoon as part of their Royal Tour.
The royal couple was welcomed by Her Royal Highness Princess Angelika Latufuipeka Halaevalu Mata’aho Tuku’aho, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure and Tourism Hon. Semisi Sika, Secretary for Foreign Affairs Mr. Mahe Tupouniua and the Acting Chief Secretary and Secretary to Cabinet, Ms. ‘Olita Tupou.
They will attend a welcoming ceremony at the Consular House this evening hosted by His Majesty King Tupou VI followed by a dinner and a Tongan traditional entertainment. Guests include members of the Royal Family, Prime Minister, Cabinet members, diplomatic corps and others.
